Why Study In London

Considerations to study in London make it extremely important to understand what to consider before you come to London and in this article I will share with you the most important factors in making your decision. The factors to avoid will also be covered in subsequent articles.

You have to choose the best place for YOU to study in London and you have to get this right the first time. Most importantly your life will be influenced by the people you study with and how your degree measures up against peer qualifications.

The students that you study with will be a very valuable network as they will all be business people once they finish. You have access to a list of people you can appoint and you know what they are like.

Universities are ranked in the UK by a number of publications, most notably the Times Higher Education and the Guardian. The higher the ranking the better the student experience at the institution (and often the higher the price). School rankings are important, but your academic performance will out-way the rankings when looking for a job.

Your decision to study in London should also be influenced by the student profile at the University. This is a piece of information that not all institutions divulge, so it is worth asking for a student profile or look at student profiles on their website. Studying with people with similar or better skills than you will benefit you.

Lecturers would be the obvious next factor to consider before you study in London...make sure that you look at a lecturer profiles. Don't be afraid to ask for it. Well qualified lecturers with appropriate teaching and/or professional experience will make the difference between passing or not.

Class size has impact on your own student experience as well as your potential to pass. It is best not to join schools or Universities where class sizes are as much as 300+ as this will not allow you to interact with you lecturer productively. Colleges generally have smaller classes and you should aim for 25-40 students per class.

The London School of Business and Management may be the exact private college when you enrol to study in London. Please visit The London School of Business and Management.
