Cat Doors - Is Your Cat Driving You Crazy Indoors?

It's not unheard of - there are actually some pets who synch their body rhythms with those of their owners. Over time, they tend do share the same schedule of activities, or at least closely overlap them - watching television together, preparing a meal at about the same time, and sleeping at about the same scheduled hours. You can even call this amazing. These pets are better than just potty trained. When bored they do not scratch the furniture indoors. They don't get bored staying in the house all day. Now wake up to reality. You really can't, no matter how hard your try, keep you cat imprisoned indoors. Seriously, you're going to think about installing cat doors> Otherwise, indoors, they'll also do as they please.

Potty trained but still getting potty accidents, and indoors at that

Even though there are some cats that love staying indoors due to the timed pet feeder and indoor heat or cooling, some get easily bored. For example, even if the potty station is nearby they will still pee at the base of your couch, in your laundry hamper, on your work table, and into your computer.

The claws all over their territory, which is actually your home

Scratched up furniture, clawed up curtains, the list goes on. If you collect items of value or have paintings on your wall, be prepared to see them scratched up. If you have a bad habit of leaving unwashed dishes and catsup bottles with the cap not tightly secured, expect rummaged through dishes and spilled catsup on the table. Could it be that your cat is just mischievous, eternally bored, and have nothing else to do?.

Shelf climbing and dropping books from shelves

You're lucky if only books drop from shelves. You may have some expensive or valuable mementos that could get knocked over. We tend to keep these things on our shelves, which a cat might just climb up on especially when they're bored. Cats need to explore - that's how curious they can be - and even if they keep snug-fitting themselves in some unused shelf or box, expect to keep seeing broken and scattered things indoors.

Who's the butler in this house again?

So you're home, and you do what you do when at home - relaxing and watching a movie, sleeping soundly, chatting with friends over the Internet - but with a cat that wants to get out, you need to drop what you're doing. Why must you do that? Because that cat expects you to do so, and besides who else will do it? Cats will meow all night and jump on you if need be. Oh and later, when the cat is done doing what it likes outdoors - it will bug you to let it in, by meowing over and over, again.

Since you deserve relief from the indoor havoc your cat can cause, you need to look into cat doors to check out what suites your home and your extraordinarily curious pet.
