A bus full of Austrian travellers crashed in Croatia on Wed., but nobody got wounded.
The bus full of Austrians was heading to Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina when it smashed into a fence along the motorway close to Sestanovac in southern Croatia. There were 47 travellers on the bus.

Medjugorje is one of the villages of the Western Herzegovina municipality of Citluk in the former Yugoslavia. The name Medjugorje is Slavic and means "area between two moutains". This real life story takes place in the Bijakovici section of Medjugorje. On the afternoon of June twenty-four, 1981, two girls, Ivanka Ivankovic, age 15, and Mirjana Dragicevic, age 16, were coming back home from a walk. Looking towards the hill called Crnica, Ivanka saw a bright outline of a lady. She revealed to Mirjana, "It is the Gospa!" (Our Woman).

On June twenty-five, the 2 girls returned to the hill with four others. Their names are, Vicka Ivankovic, age 16, Ivan Dragivevic, age 16, Maria Pavlovic, age sixteen and Jakov Colo, age ten. A figure in white was calling them to come up the hill. The youngsters were somehow transported in some confusing way to a gorgeous Lady who calls herself, the Queen of Peace. The Woman gives messages to the seers for the entire world. To date, the Queen of Peace has left thousands of messages. At first, the messages were almost everyday. Now, for the past one or two years, they come on the 25th of each month.

The visionaries describe Our Lady as stunning beyond words ; radiant with holiness. Her chats with the youngsters have taken the kind of motherly tenderness and love, and she has taken the job of both mother and catechist in advising and directing their lives. She greets them with, "Praised be Jesus, my dear children." At the end of the apparition she is saying, "Go in peace, my dear children." She appears to the six visionaries as a three-dimensional real image and always appears among brilliant flashes of light.

Her appearances sometimes happen about 6:40 pm each day. In Medjugorje, crowds of people come daily at this time to participate in the event with prayer, song, the rosary and the Mass, which is sometimes concelebrated by 30 or more monks. The whole evening service lasts about three hours. And this has been taking place daily since 1981!

All the visionaries declare in substance :

We see the Blessed Virgin as we see all other folks. We pray, we speak with her and we touch her.
She stressed : "Peace in the world is in a condition of crisis. Humankind must be reconciled with Our Lord God and with one another."
She promises us she will leave a perceivable sign at the place of the apparitions in Medjugorje, for all humanity.
The Blessed Ma promised to confide techniques to us.
This time, this period of grace, is important. After the visible sign, those still living will have little time for conversion.
For that reason, the Blessed Virgin invites us to critical reconciliation and conversation.
The Blessed Mother continues to invite us to prayer and fasting : "You have forgotten that with prayer and fasting you can stop a war from going down. You can suspend natural laws."

Our Lady commenced imparting secrets to the visionaries in Medjugorje very early on. She has informed the visionaries that each one of them would receive 10 secrets. Our Woman has imparted these methods to the six visionaries gradually over these past 18 years. Three visionaries have received all 10, and subsequently, they have stopped having the daily apparition with Our Lady. The other three each have 9. The secrets apply to the visionaries themselves, to the Church, to the sign, to all humanity, and to everyone, and to the entire world and to Medjugorje.
